Side Stripe Install

For those who have done their side stripes. Did you put them on in one piece then make the cuts for the door or did you cut them into 3 pieces before installing them?

Ditto. Decide before you start whether you want to follow the lower edge of the hockey stick, or follow the rocker moulding. I followed the hockeystick, and that gave the stripes a slight upward slant towards the rear. It's subtle, but I would probably have rather followed the rocker moulding in order to have my stripes a bit more level. Your choice.

Man, I turn green just reading your mods signature, vegas. Natasha is too cool.

I'll be doing my Baltimore Street Mods stripes in a few weeks, just ordered them today. I'm getting the 10" in gloss black and matching rocker stripes. The rocker stripes will look like the GT500 ones but without any text.

I'm going to be putting on a set of boss stripes this weekend, but have to take the pony emblems off the fenders....does anybody know if they are just 3M taped on or do they have mounting posts? Need to know if i have to do any body work to fill holes in.

There are locating tabs on the badges, and holes in the fenders. The badges are taped on, just heat them up a little and they'll come off. Then do your body work to make the holes disappear.
