Has anyone installed the side exhaust from Cervini's?

I'm wondering how difficult it was and how good the fit is...

Thanks!

Their side exhaust is on back order. I have placed an order and should have it installed within the next month or so. From talking to them it sounds like it just bolts on. I plan on doing the install my self and putting a writeup on my site below. Wish I had it right now, the mustang is supposed to be here next week.

I'm looking forward to reading about how the install goes for you...any and all details would be appreciated...

Thanks again!

I am also contemplating purchasing the Side Exhaust but have heard that if I do it will drastically reduce both HP and TQ. Have you heard anything about this?

I don't see how it would reduce HP and TQ....if anything it wouldn't be "drastic". After all...the guy on this forum that's running 384hp N/A has side exhaust.

yes, but he has drastically modified his engines internal components. So, the exhaust wouldn't make that much of a differences anyways.

True, but clearly he is trying to maximize performance and it wouldn't make any sense for him to do something that would rob his power.

I believe that the only way to answer this question would be to ask the owner. Even though he might not want to take a power loss with the addition of the exhaust he might do so considering the over all Eleanor theme he is going with. IMO.

They are magnaflow exhaust. If there is a power loss I would imagine its from the computer. I would say that tuning the car after the exhaust would keep it the same or even increese the hp.

I don't have access to a dyno around me, but I will do some runs with my G-Tech Pro. I plan to install it permantly for measuring mods. I will try to keep everything constant but the new mod. I'll post my results on the site.

I will install and post the update to the website as soon as I recieve the kit from Cervinis. I talked to them today, the exhaust is backordered for another week or so then they will ship.
