Should i bump up to 20's

I'm kind of torn on this. I currently have the 18x9/10 anthracite bullitt wheels. Sometimes I think they look just a little too small. Sometimes when I see a mustang with 20's I think it looks great and other times just a little too big. What do you all think? Should I keep what I got or bump up a bit. May be a while before I would do it. Just curious for a few opinions. Here is the car with the 18's

Agreed. The rear tires are small. The front looks ok. Actually 19's look perfect on those but tire choices are expensive and hard to find.

Ok gents, thanks for the feedback. I agree that the 19 is a nice choice. The problem I run into is I can't find any anthracite bullitt wheels in a 19. So you would suggest leaving the wheels the same but upping the rear sidewall?

Looks like a 305 40 18 would add approximately an inch to the tire over the 275 40 18 that is on there now

The reason you see some 20" wheels that you don't like is all about the tire. A lot of people who run 20s run a rubber band for a tire.

Look at the 05-09 Saleens, a 20" wheel with some good meat look awesome to me! I'll run 20s one day... As the wheel wells on cars get bigger, so do the wheels. I say go for 20s!

That's a real good point that I didn't really think about. Actually yeah I just looked at some saleens based on your advice and with some meat on the rim they do look fine

Same with yours they don't look too big, what size tires do you run? Are you lowered at at all?

I have 275x30 on 10 1/2" rim and 235x35 on 9" up front. Stock ride higth. I would like to level it come doun some in the back. It is a daley driver so I don't wan't to lower it much. Speed bumps and such. Got a deal on the rims and tires I couldn't pass up.

I dislike the rubber band look, but these are 20" CS40s with some serious meat wrapped around them. This '14 GT500 belongs to 1 Alibi 2.

He told me the tire size, however I forgot. But when it comes time to replace tires on mine, I'm strongly considering 20" rolling stock....particularly those wheels.

I've run both, and like both.. same as you sometimes the 18's looked too small and 20's too big. How about 19's? More & more tires seem to be coming available

Ideally I would like to keep my 18's on the front and put 19 on the rear. Unfortunately I can't find any 19 anthracite bullitt wheels

Your car looks good. I would keep the 18s.
I too thought about 20s but decided against them. At least for now.

I like the 18's maybe go up to 19's but I think 20's are too big.

Thanks gents, love the bourbon avatar by the way. I have pretty firmly decided to stick with the 18's for now. I may still go just a hair bigger on the rear tire size, but the amount of tire choices for 18's is another reason I have decided to stick with what I got
