Shelby Wheels Being Discontinued?

I was checking into getting a set of Shelby CS40 (Black with/Machined Lip), and I have been told that they are discontinued.

Is Shelby getting out of the wheel business?

There is a web sit for the wheels: http://www.carrollshelbywheels.com , but it doesn't seem to be working 100%, as there are alot of broken links.

They were asking for input on new wheels on their forum?

I was wondering why I couldn't find any options to pick up the CS40's w/black/silver as well. If they discontinued them, that's a bit dissapointing, as those were my favorite wheels for the Stang. It may also explain why after several emails to the Shelby Store why I couldn't get a response.

I almost bought those for my 67. They are pretty cheap on Ebay.

Gotta love the CS40's...

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of vendors that still have them in stock. RT Tire has a pretty good deal with free shipping...

RT Tire is out of stock. I emailed them a few days ago and they told me that the wheels are NOT discontinued, just on a big back order. I was told nothing until end of April.

I think I am going to be getting the Steeda Spyders instead of the CS40. I like the look of them and the rear wheel is 11" wide. I'm gonna throw some NITTI INVO 315's out back for some serious rubber!

Well, if they are not discontinued, that's good. I don't mind waiting to get a set, was just bummed when I heard that they might be discontinued, because the silver razors were already discontinued and now that my wheel of choice was the CS40, I was worried it was headed down the same path for some reason. Glad to hear they are not discontinued.

I believe the Razors, Redlines and Torq-Thrust were all made by American Racing who has now discontinued making those wheels.

Uh-oh, Shelby's "backorders" can last quite a long time.

Just placed an order for the black/machined CS40s and was told end of April for a ship time as well. At least the messaging is consistent...

LOVE my chrome CS40s. Just got them a few weeks ago.
Now I just need to get bigger brakes to go with them.

wow "nite"........i gotta say that is one sweet pony you got there! really got it slammed to the ground too, really badass but thats gotta be a b!tch getting in and out of driveways. im running the steeda ultralites with the cdc classic chin spoiler and i gotta go at such an extreme angle to get up the easiest driveways, yours must be near impossible. still looks sweet and i guess its true, no pain no gain hahaha

thanks, jason! yeah, the (sportlines) drop can be a hassle sometimes, but i'm pretty used to lowered cars, as it was always the first thing i did upon buying a new one (all daily drivers too). you should've seen my vette; had to swerve to avoid dead snakes.

BE ADVISED {CARROLL SHELBY WHEEL COMPANY} IS OUT OF MO. and has Little to do with Shelby American out of Las Vegas & California. THE CS Series Wheels are currently on backorder but not being discontinued. I was one of their first Ford Dealers to sign up as a wheel dealer & I have contact with them all the time.

Check out the cs40 link with studio pics in the zip file

The RAZORS which are American Racing Wheels are a Different Story. That is a {SHELBY AMERICAN} Issue.

Got word yesterday that my CS40s are arriving in the warehouse late this week. Lets see if it holds true...
