Hi Twin Turbo,
Where are your safety fender side markers and yellow lenses on the tails lights?

The tyres are 255/35s.

I have side repeaters built into the back of the wing mirror, but that's likely to be an MOT failure in the UK so I'll have to look at an alternative solution. I've got until the car is 3 years old in September though.

As for the orange section in the taillights......my reversing lights have been converted to indicators using orange bulbs (weirdly, reversing lights are not a legal requirement). This means I can keep the "all red" look.

Any more pics of these Razors in 18"? I agree that one pic above doesn't look very good and the 20's look much better. However I don't want 20's so I'd like to see more examples of 18's if possible.

Where is everyone getting their Shelby Razors? What is the best price for the dark gray 20's?

American Racing doesn't offer them in black. I've been trying to get them to do it for almost 2 years . Shelby has them though. They powder-coat them black. The only downside ordering from Shelby is the price when compared to other vendors. I'm getting the standard silver ones and having them powdercoated black.

Is there a noticeable difference between the 24 mm offset and the 40 mm offset?

Yes there is. The larger the offset the further the wheels will be tucked in to the fenders. Shelby Razors come in three different offsets/backspacing

+12mm offset (5.5" backspacing)
+24mm offset (6" backspacing)
+40mm offset (6.5" backspacing)

These are the +40mm versions. They sit tucked into the fenders.

If I remember correct this car has 265/35/20's on all 4. He is a member here so maybe he can chime in.

Now these next pictures are the +24mm offsets. These will stick out of the fender slightly. On the newer +24mm offset they go out even slightly further due to American Racing milling an extra +2mm on them to help fit over the GT500 big brake package.

I think these are 255/35/20 all the way around. He is on the forums here as well if I am not mistaken so hopefully he will see this.

Now for the fun part, buying them. All I can say is from my personal experience is unless you want Gunmetal or Chrome, good luck on finding them. I am looking for the Silver color in the "Shelby" version of the razors and they are basically on back order everywhere from what I have found out. I have also heard that American Racing is going through some serious transitions in management among other things and there is no current date for production on the silver ones to start up again. I do not know how truthful that it but most vendors I have spoken with trying to find these in Silver have said similar things. You may have better luck looking for the regular American Racing Razors which are the same wheel except they don't have "Shelby" embossed on a spoke and don't have Shelby center caps. You can buy the center caps I think.

WOW! That may as well be my car! You don't see many WVB w/spoiler delete and rear blackout. That's the only other one I've ever seen. I was wondering what my car would look like with razors. Now I know - awesome! Only question now - silver or gunmetal (those are silver, correct?)

Is there any drawback to going with 24 mm offest over 40mm ? Handling, etc.?

I don't think it would make a tremendous difference on a daily driver either way but, I would think that the 24mm would handle slightly better because of the wider track.

I agree if it makes any different. You could also use a small wheel spacer to push the 40mm's out.

Those are the Silver color but very hard to find right now. Gunmetal is available all over the place.
