i know clevparts says to get it from local dealer..but its really expensive!!

Thats about your only choice. Shop around the dealers in your area. If you are in a local Mustang club some of them give a 10%-15% discount to MCA members or local club members. I got a great deal on mine because of my club membership. KC is right about getting it from your local dealer. Shipping kills. Also, did you know the heat extractor vents cost at least $250.00 ea. That isn't included in the cost of the hood. If you do a search about Shelby conversions you can read my posts about it. Good luck.

as far as the heat extractor vents, are those the 2 black vents on top of the hood? if so, i think clevparts sells those for $65 each?
