Al I'm thinking of dropping mine down with the FRPP springs. It looks so good on these cars to see that gap close on the wheel wells. Should've done it that way from the beginning. Oh well.

Yeah...you and me both.FRPP springs have a nice drop.My Steeda spring are nice but the drop just isn't low enough.

But how is the ride witht the FRPP springs? If they are the same as Eibach, many members have complained about the harshness and the fact that the shocks/struts go after 30,000 miles.

Taunt. The ride is much more "controlled". There's much less upward travel when you hit a bump, while the return from that upward travel is shorter. All this gives you better handling and road feel while sacrificing comfort. On well maintained roads, it's a non-issue. On bad roads, it plain sucks.
30K? That's good amount of miles for any damper. Did the guys complaining mention what kind of roads they were driving? Were they doing any autocross? Remember, these parts are engineered for performance, not necessarly longevity.

I ran a FRPP handling pack on an 06'GT on Denver streets and mountain twisties. No doubt handling was great but there was feedback on the hiway. It didn't track but road thump was a common occurrence. The FRPP dampners were nothing like a set of adjustable Tokico D-specs.

For a non-stock set-up (FRRP, Steeda, Roush, Saleen), how long would you figure a set of shocks would be good for?
I am almost at 40K on my Pony and it has had the Saleen suspension since I picked it up
D-specs had popped into my head recently becasue of the adjustability factor too.....

Here's a question then since I am pretty much a suspension newbie I guess.

Amazing! 95 posts and not a single instance of "Fanblades". Are they prohibited? Nevertheless, here's a set:18x8.5, 245-45 Potenza RE-01Rs, Steeda Sport Springs.
That one includes, for comparison, 19x9/10 Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 275-35 tires.
Followed by my attempt to show what the 'Blades would look like with dark centers, plain, all dark.
