Scott Drake 'Powered by Ford' Installed

I picked up a couple of the Scott Drake Powered by Ford fender emblems today from partscheap.com and installed one side when I got home. They are metal and come with two sided sticky tape on the inside and are high quality pieces. The edges are chrome and the center is sort of a brushed aluminum look. I used the black stripe on the GT300 as a reference point to get them centered as much as possible. Let me know what you think. Bye bye running ponies~

No, that's why I had to measure twice and stick once.

Nice suit! C&R?

The emblems look ok I guess... just not a fan of "Powered by..." slogans. After all, what do you expect to find under the hood of a Ford? A Rat motor? A Honda?

looks great!
its hard to tell from pictures, but from how far away can you see what it says? thats one thing keeping me away from emblems like this, seems like you have to get on your knees and squint to tell what it says because in the pic that looks to be from ~3 feet away, you cant tell anything

This is true, the writing is small. But for him I think it works because he's got the GT 300 label below it. it seems to work!

It looks very very similar to the badge on the Shelby GT.

Rich, I like them, they're definitely unique... Then I saw the Shelby's PBF and think that I may like them better

I wasn't really wasn't interested in how far away you could read it but in something to make my car more unique. I have the GT300 side stripes and running ponies on the rear spoiler and front grille. The Shelby GT PBF emblem is about the same size but is more rolled and not as flat.

Just trying to make my car my own.
