Roush Hood-scoop & Spoiler, install?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has installed any of those 2 parts in your cars. How hard is it to do it yourself?

If any one has any info or links leading to instalation process please let me know, I will appreciated a lot. thanks

Manny...

I installed a Roush hood scoop on my Black GT. The install went pretty smooth thanks to the instruction and hardware provided. You have to drill seven holes on the hood using the template. As others have mentioned the hardest part is removing the hood liner, I imagine it would have been easier to remove the plastic retainers if you had the tool for it.

Here's a pic

Yes, the Roush scoop is different from the Ford GT appearnce package.

The Roush scoop is longer front to back, and tapers to the rear, where as the Ford scoop is short and more angular.

The Roush scoop was intended to look very similar to the scoop used on the 1966 Shelby GT 350.

Hood scoop looks great. That's the Roush? What about the spoiler? How difficult was installation of that, if you've done it?

yes, its the roush scoop, have not done the spoiler yet (gets here next week).

I asked the body guy at the shop about how hard it would be to install the spoiler and he said.

the center part bolts right on the stock holes but the side parts will require to drill a hole on the side to keep them on place.

so will see when I get it.
