Replica GT 500 spoiler from Spoiler Store on ebay?

I've done the search and read - quite a few threads... Seems the issues are with the corners lifting, and that happens with OEM or the replica spoilers it seems? Drilling the extra holes solves the issue. OK, got that. I'm looking at the prepainted spoiler from the spoiler store on ebay - he's selling them prepainted for $89.

This is not a mode I thought of doing before due to cost of buying and painting the spoiler, but at this price? Some of you have gotten spoilers from the spoiler store: how about the colour match and did the spoilers crack or go wavey/ripply over time? I've read about the lifting and how they are some weeks after install - how about a year later?

Cheers

I tried to find the thread I was reading this weekend on the same item. I can't remember where I found it. In short after hearing all the good things about The Spoiler Store I have decided to buy the same one. Everyone praised their GT500 spoiler's fit and paint job. I'm sure their will be more members on who have the later today, but hopefully for $89 I can't go wrong. Plus everyone says it's hard blow moulded plastic like the factory part.

I'm thinking the same, I just wanted to know if there were any problems later down the road, like paint fade or warping etc...

I've had mine for over a year, with absolutely no issues. Mineral Grey paint match is dead on. I did use the additional two outboard holes, because I know for sure there is no going back to stock for me....

When I got mine I thought somebody sent me a snow board by mistake. That spoiler is huge!

I have always loved the gt500 spoiler and this deal sounds INCREDIBLE! What i am wondering is does shipping take long due to it needing to be painted? And also, are the holes all predrilled to fit into the factory spoiler holes?

Almost seems like people couldn't go wrong at that price.

It took me about 10 days to receive mine. As far as the holes, the spoiler store spoiler uses two of the four factory holes, and covers the other two. It also attaches with 3M tape around the entire perimeter, and offers the option of drilling two additional outboard holes if desired.....

Ordered from them. Would strongly recommend. Good choice on the order

I've had mine for a couple of months and it's holding up fine. Paint match is spot on. Good quality piece especially for the price. Only thing is the lifting. I didn't drill the holes and no one ever notices the slight lift anyway.

Hope that helps!

When I bought my dash kit a couple of years ago I bought an adhesive promoter "pen". I used it on the perimiter of the spoiler and found it helps. I think any place that sells dash kits sells it.

Good to hear all these good things about it i still cant decide no spoiler, v-6 spoiler (aka GT500kr), gt 500 or ducktail spoiler to match my front spoiler.
