Hey Terry, you have to get a long flat-head screwdriver and bend back the plastic where the tabs for the grill go into. Once you get the side ones out, and you flex the grill the right way, it just comes off. The side ones are a PITA though. Just be careful not to go too gungho. While the plastic is pliable (this is so the grill comes out easy) the slots can be broken open. Just take your time and you'll get it taken off.

I haven't had the opportunity to remove the grill yet (and hopefully there won't be a reason to)...but eventually the fog lamps will have to be replaced and I sure hope that the dealership tech doesn't break one or more plastic tabs and then replaces it...allowing it to rattle/shake...don't think they're going to fess up to it and I would get the story that it will take 2 weeks to get a replacement grill, if they did admit to ruining it...
Bottom Line: Ford should have designed the grill to be installed with bolts-screws, etc., in order to remove-re-install with ease...none of this rinky dink "plastic tabs" which have to be forced open (and could easily break).

Once you get the hang of it , it is easy , I have mine out numerous times. The tabs on the grille itself are pretty solid and should be hard to break. The parts on the bumper they fit into are very flexible and should also be very hard to break ...

Actually, I have removed my grille several times with no issues, however I have seen numerous people that have either broken a tab off the grille or damaged a slot in the fascia. So just make sure you are careful. The parts a forgiving but not that forgiving.
