Rear Window Louvers, Painted & Striped

I'm excited that I got my rear window louvers installed yesterday. The look won't be complete until i get my quarter panel louvers too - I'm waiting to see what the glass-replacement ones look like before I decide which ones to get. I know not everyone likes louvers, but for those that
do, I hope you enjoy the pics!

Inside View: As you can see - no problem looking out the back window, even with 5% limo tint in the back.

Absolutely awesome!!! I've been wanting to do the same...just too lazy. I'm not sure my Windveil Blue would look as good. I assume it's a one piece MRT louver. Great job!! How much for just painting the louver??

not digging the chrome edges ......and the top louver doesnt seem to be a good fit for the line of the roof.....but I think you pull it off.

No... no chrome edges - just the lighting in the picture made it look that way - it's all satin silver. There are two more brackets that can be used at the top to make it line up better (tighter) with the roof - but the drawback is that you can't lift the louvers up to wash the window underneath if you use them. Unless MRT knows something i don't .

YEP - I'ts the MRT Interceptor Louver - a one piece. I ordered them from http://www.highhorseperformance.com/ and let me say they were GREAT! They not only had the best price of the 5 companies that sell them, but they also had the best price on shipping - only 30 bucks. Everyone else wanted 100 bucks or more for truck freight shipping. Anyway - they had the best deal I found and I got them right away, so kudos to them! I don't know how much it was to paint them cuz my body guy owed me some work so he did them for free.

Thanks, Dan. I thought they were the same - but then I'm easily confused.

Looks good, nice job with the stipes. Brings back old memories of my 1980 Celica coupe with louvers. Those things rattled like crazy though.

Hey Edson - I can't get your link to work. I'm interested in seeing your take on what side louvers would look best. Can you post the pic?

I like both of those - but I dare not decide until I see what SilverHorse Racing puts on the table!
