Has anyone tried to install a 68 or 69 pop open gas cap on the trunk lid. I'm looking to get rid of the Ford GT medallion but there aren't a lot of options out there. I was thinking of getting a reproduction gas cap from Scott Drake and somehow installing it. I don't care if the key is blocked because I have the keyfob and the interior button release to access the trunk.

Some people have used the silver horse racing cover and installed emblem on that, I think looks good.

Shotokan, that's the way I think I'm going. I got the black ring and chrome door from SHR and a red GT from CJ Pony Parts. Where did you get your GT emblem from?
