Rear blackout...
I'm looking for a rear black out to replace my magnetic one.
Looking for one like this: http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...out-panel.html
but not glossy, just a flat textured black but KEEPS the emblem, I truly haven't seen one.

I could but vinyl wears over time too, plastic should hold up the best, it just that all of them I see have some sort of pattern on them (honeycomb, etc)

only "bad" thing about ABS is that it does oxidize over time. I used to have to wax and buff my bug shield on my truck every six months. I think that the panel you have shown if the same type of plastic that bug shields are made of.

Is the SHR panel difficult to keep clean? The side scoops on my CS get dirt in the bottom of the honeycomb and it's a b***% to clean. Was wondering if the Blackout panel is the same.

That's what my magnetic one looks like it shrunk, it's not that I don't like the vinyl, but it scratches and mars easy IMHO, I have it on my hood and have had it happen.

The taillight bezels are Moss Mustang Slotted bezels.Painted satin black to match the spolier & rear window louvers.

good to hear- I need to get some vinyl...also had magnetic, liked the look, was going to paint- but heck if vinyl lasts that long, why bother painting
my magnetic one didnt shrink, it 'crumbled' underneath...had some blisterlike areas after about a year, last time taking it off to clean chunks of magnet were everywhere... the vinyl face did still look good, but the rubber/magnet stuff deteriorated
I still want to just take semigloss polycarbonate paint to the seperations/perimeter of the lenses...the bezels look good, but I kinda like the 'bigger lens look' without the bezels. just thought, still got to redo the blackout on the replacement front bumper too...
I need to get away from this 'veggin in front of the tv/laptop' after work...works just not 'fun' anymore, hard to get motivated after a day in there...need to create some new challenges here as there just aint much at work anymore...glad to have a job, but from '80 till '08 it never felt like 'work' - even after some 100 hour weeks...we worked >90 for 3 yrs straight, but built a lot of neat stuff, and liked doing it...now its just trying to keep up with neglected stuff at another plant, even with 'normal' hours, its far more tiring...very thankful for the first 28 years of not having a 'job' but something to look forward to doing the next day...

I will buy Jack Stands!!!
If they could make a gloss, smooth piece, with the same dimensions as the SHR one, I'd be insanely happy. I dislike seeing the tailights, then the recessed area blacked out. It seems cheap to me to have a big ridge like that
