2013 taillights for 05-09...

If I'm to believe this pic, someone has made the 2013 style lamps for our cars. Look at the pic closely and you can clearly see its an 05/09 bumper and those are some very cool taillights. Could it be?!?!

The pic was on a email I received from American muscle. I don't think it's vinyl overlay like the one from the eBay listing. It appears to have indintation / concave around the black out

I believe they are with the concave and you can also see the light in the concave just like the 13 style. I'm just wondering when they will come out. I love em!!

Stay far away from them. Quality issues, and customer service is even worse.

I would call or email American Muscle and see what they say about the picture. I know they said they were working on those style of lights, but then I thought they gave up on it? Either way that picture looks pretty awesome...

That's definitely not the tint overlays. WIth the tint overlays, you still see the reverse light underneath the inner most lens. That does look like some '13-'14 style lights for the 05-09. If that is the case, I'm definitely on board for some.. i've wanted them for a long time.

AM and Raxiom were working on these, but I thought they hit some type of issue.

There's a long-running thread for those lights. Take a look. They're getting condensation buildup.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the false alarm! Raxiom was just having some fun and made up a prototype to see what it would look like if they did start producing one. Unfortunately, there's no word of this lamp actually being produced. However, if anything changes, I'll let you guys know!

Thanks Shane, for clearing that up. I was certain my eyes were seeing the picture correctly.
IF it ever happens, that would be AWSOME.

Shane, do you know the reason why they haven't made the kit yet? There's obviously a huge market for it. I'm guessing Ford won't allow any other companies to make such a thing?

On Awesome, I'm not sure it'd work as well... of course, she'd have to get a blacked out deck panel if she decided she just *had* to have them...

On an all black car? Heck to the yeah, those would look *fantastic.* Or maybe a darker blue with a blackout panel...

I will be awaiting word of these... Kinda like the idea!

mrp5150,

At the moment, all I know is Raxiom ran into a few issues. I'm not certain what they were, or what it takes to have them ironed out. Hopefully things will change in the future though!

Huge market? Seriously doubt that...
You couldn't pay me to put those on. That whole angled thing is why they can't figure out what to do with that huge bumper cover since 2010.
