Yeah I like the stripes, but not just any combination.
White on Blue
Black on Red, Orange, Silver, Dk Gray
Blue on White

 

No stripes

 

I like the stripes and will be putting pearl white on my sonic blue for now, but knowing that a lot of people will be putting stripes on I will be designing something different during the winter.

 

Love them, and will be getting black stripes on silver car.

they look cool, but i probably won't get them cause i'm getting windveil blue.

 

I would think that white stripes would go well with windevil blue.

love stripes...but don't get the factory stripes. here's a photoshop i'm working on...obviously not finished. changin' the wheels, etc. there are a couple other ones in the ps section. made the stripes wider and longer.

 

I think they look great on the 05, but fear there will be too many cars with them. I'm looking into having my custom painter (a true artist) doing the lemans stripes with ghost flames faintly incorporated in them. Gotta be a little out of the norm.

 

If they were a painted on option from the factory, I would get them. But since they are not, I won't be adding them.

 

I don't like the stripes offered by the dealer.

After seeing the pics of the extreme stang, I'll be getting a white one with blue stripes.

I don't know which one I would pick but it would be one of the following.

Yellow car/ black stripes
Black car / silver strieps
Torch red/white stripes

Anyone know any big name, on the east coast, paint shops that won't screw this job up?

 

I mentioned it before that I thought i read somewhere on this site that only Black and Silver were going to be offered from the dealer. So for those of you mentioning other colors, do you plan on getting them done someplace else?

If I remember correctly, you're right about the colors of the stripes.

 

I love the stripes. I think they'll look great on most colors. Not too sure about WV Blue and the Lime. (Maybe rocker stripes only.) The yellow, however, looks like a bumblebee with the black stripes. IMO the yellow needs to just have the whole hood blacked out and go with side stripes like the Machs and Bosses of '69 and '70. Wouldn't that look awesome in the red colors as well? Come to think of it, the Bosses and Machs did come in the paler blues and greens back then too. Hmm.......It is soooo cool how we can pay homage to just about any of our favorite classic 'stangs with the one body style of the '05! God Bless Ford!
