Question for You Artistic Design Folks Out There
Just after I got my '05 GT it was looking kind of plain, so I put on the Saleen chevron (or whatever you call it) to dress up the side. I didn't want to go with a full rocker stripe.
Now that I've got the car looking pretty much exactly the way I want it, I'm starting to think I don't really need that Saleen chevron. I can't decide whether to leave it on there or not. I'm leaning to removing it because the car isn't a Saleen and although it's got GT 500 front and rear fascias, it is still clearly badged as a GT.
Opinions welcome.

The side skirts were painted, he changed them for black ones. I like the V6/GT500 rockers on lighter cars, makes it look like it went on a diet as the painted ones make it a little slab-sided.
Dump the stripes, save up for wheels

Thanks guys. I agree. I will take them off. As I said, I put them on early in the game when there was nothing else done to the car. It was kind of plain at that point.
And, yes the rocker panels are from the V6. I just like them better. When the factory painted ones were on there the car looked a little chunky.
One more thing. Taking the decals off...what to use? Hair dryer to soften the adhesive? I don't want to try any solvents.
