A question about Replica after market wheels

I'm looking at the purchase of 4 Replica Alloys GT500 wheels from Discount Tire direct. In my "shopping cart" they have a Wheel Installation kit that they are saying is needed for the aftermarket wheels because the OEM lug nuts won't work.
Is there any truth to that or are they just trying to get me to purchase another item that I don't really need?
Thanks

It depends on how the wheel is made, but it's entirely possible the OEM lug nuts won't work due to either being tapered or not being tapered... whichevr the aftermarket wheels need.

Thanks Jason, I appreciate your help.

Has anyone heard anything bad about this brand of wheels?

I think it depends on the brand wheel that Discount Tire is selling you. About 3 years ago I purchased a set of OE Concepts Bullitt wheels from Discount Tire. They are awesome wheels! Oh and they worked fine with the OE lug nuts... Only issue I ran into with them was that the center cap opening was larger than the OEM wheel. As such I could not change the center caps from the funky Cobra center caps. My solution? I purchased a set of chrome metal knock offs from BRS Parts. They bolt into the wheels and look great!

The '01-'04 Bullitt wheels center caps (tri-bar pony with black background) will fit perfectly in those wheels, Martimus.

(Sorry not the best pic)
