Putting Fading Rockers on, and can't decide on color. Care to help me?

**EDIT**
I forgot to mention that mine will be going on the doors like the GT/CS

**

Ok, like the post says I just can't decide on color, I included a pic of my car to help. as for the choices it's pretty much down to White, Silver, Dark grey. Being that my car is vista blue (bet you never would have guessed ) I know white is a stark contrast, silver is more subdued but seeing that it goes next to the "GT" emblem I don't know if that will give it a washed out effect due to the chrome. The dark grey is just in there because thats the mid ground as black is out of the question, because it barely shows up even in the day time on vista.

Well its just my opinion, but on a traditional color like blue, I like traditional colored stripes, like white or black. I almost went black with my car last year, but decided on white and I don't regret a thing.

I think black would look great. GT/CS's pull it off quite nicely. But white would look good, too.

Gee thanks for making it easier for me guys

You know what? Since I posted in DarkFire's post before putting this one up I did not notice that I failed to mention that these are going on the middle of the doors, and not in the traditional rocker area

I really like white and silver the best, I had white on my last one and normally would not question the white but when I saw the SGT I really started to think about silver. I don't think the unique factor plays a part here as I doubt I will ever see any other (non black that is) side striped stangs around. I like choices as much as I hate them

Black-GT/CS's in vista blue look great with the black stripe If it were skunk stripes I would say white or silver, but not with just side stripes.

My first choice is matte black along with some matching body stripes. Or if you want something that's gonna turn heads, maybe windveil blue? Go for that slight contrast? I dono I'm just throwing ideas out there. Given the three options, you can't go wrong with white.

I have seen a few Vista CS's and the black hardly stands out at all on them. Honestly if I did not know to look for the stripe I would never see it, also if this is all I do stripe wise I want it to stand out. So that's why black is out. I am conteplating silver because I was talking with Hireman about an engine cover and front pony. The scheme he came up with involved silver along with blue. We were going to add white to the scheme because I was so serious about doing white stripes, but it was an after thought just to tie it all in. If I do silver no need to tie anything in, hense my problem. I seriously doubt I will be adding Shelby stripes to this stang, I never totally rule anything out but I just do think I want to do that this time.

This is really helping me decide, so thanks. Anyone else?

Any photoshop guru's out there who could do white and silver fades on my supplied pic? I don't know enough to do it on my own yet.

I just think a stripe above the GT badge will look funky in any color other then black

I would assume he would place the stripe where mine is.

I would go for silver if no plans for Rally/LeMans stripes, or white if you have plans for additional stripes.

Yup, mine would be going right where the GT/CS stripe goes, only I would not be placing the emblem on top of the stripe, I came up with the idea of using the style that the 67 GT's uses on their tape. The center thick stripe stops and then starts again after the emblem while the pin stripes continue uninterrupted. I really just can't decide on the color though

That sounds cool. Just go with silver. It will go well with your wheels. If you don't like it, or want a change, buy another set. Solved.

Yeah I am going to have to decide. I was really thinking silver also because of the wheels. For those who may want to know here is a pic of a 67 GT's tape to show the general idea. Thanks for the input John, I think I am going to go with silver. Thats what my gut is telling me. I will be sure to post pics whne it's done.
