Prototype theme Mustang

When I first saw the prototype Mustang, before the production version came out, I fell in love with it. So I have always wanted something very close to that first prototype car...and here it is. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your time.

That looks great man! You should look into the Xenon or 3D carbon side scoops. I can't remember which one it is, but one of them looks very similar to the ones on the concept Mustang.

Which front end is that?

I have the Xenon front and back bumpers and the door rockers. I thought about the side scoops, but thought it would be too much.

Nice recreation!
+1 for the Xenon side scoops.
I almost got them for mine last year when atlantamustang had them prepainted on sale, but VB was already sold out. I would've ordered and slapped them on days later!

You've done a great job for sure! You should be very proud. I was thinking of this picture when I suggested the scoops. Also, have you thought about changing out the regular GT badge for the one in this picture? I saw someone on here that had it, but I can't find it.

Boss - Yeah, I thought about the side emblems and the custom front pony from the prototype car, but I really like the front end I have and the silver accents of the stock GT side emblems. I don't know, you make a really good case for the side scoops...I will have to look into it for sure.

Sandyman - I just bought JDM, or maybe KDM, tail lights off ebay. Very easy to install.

Bungie, I'm not a huge fan of those side scoops normally, but for the theme you've got going I think they would look good. Hell, you could not do another thing to that car and it still looks bad ***.

On your front bumper, does the lower grill have a honeycomb insert like the stock upper grill? I can't really tell from the pictures. Yours is the first car I've seen with the Xenon front end. That looks a lot better than I thought it would the first time I saw it in a picture. Can you still use the factory fog lights in the upper grill if you get that front end?

Hey Bungie, I meant to ask earlier if you had any pictures you could post with the lights on. If you do, would you mind posting them?

Thanks Fastback, glad you like it.

Boss: The front end came with grille mesh material that I had installed in the lower grille area and in the area under the taillights....there was barely enough. The mesh is honeycomb, but has much smaller holes than the upper grille. The cool thing is, it is the same mesh as in my hoods scoops. So it matched perfectly. The stock grille would fit fine with the front Xenon bumper. I'm glad you like the kit. Besides the SHR louvres, I get alot of questions/compliments about my front end, especially from other mustang owners. I will post some pics with the lights on as soon as I get some.
