Yes they are your headlights. Very impressed with the quality of them.

Although the materials I bought for this project including your reasonaly priced set is around 350+ bux so far. And that does not include the ballasts that I already have.

Now im just sort of playing the wating game. And figuring out an attack plan to execute this build properly withought looking like toys and guranteeing durability in the long run.

The good thing about the projectors I am using is that they use H4 bulbs witch can make things very easy and cheep for replacements or upgrades. Hell a 55w HID with ballasts and wire harnes goes for around 100bux for the single beam kits. And with these units you only need single beam bulbs as the high beam is a motorised plap inside the projector. Sick stuff and the cut off line is razor sharp based on testing.

Update Time

Ok time for an update.

As I said I wanted to put side signals in the headlights. Here is a update.

I bought some amber plex that I cut to shape and and reshaped it. I have 3 more pieces to cut and shape to complete the job. It fits in very well but was a big pain in the butt to shape it. I will be tinting the plex black and then clear coating it for the stealth signal look. I am now waiting on the led's for this part of the project.

As I stated before I really did not want to loose the big reflector look so this was the solution.

With flash.

This is what the ring looks like. Despite the camera, the color of the leds is white and not blue.

With the leds off. Head on vision. (I will be filling in the halo gove with chrome wire)

Side view, with the leds off. I will be hiding the wires on the side as well.

Nice write up,reminds me of when I took apart my headlights to use on my custom bumper cover, wish I could find a chrome ring for around my head lights.one question, what size is the halo lights? I might could use the halo in place of the small pin lights. Now that I look at this a little closer,I might take apart my headlights and install the halos like you have.very good job

The halo ring I bought is 80mm and has 24 led's per ring. However the front halo, I'm guesstimating its around 74mm in diameter. I hated the front halo for multiple reasons. The main two are that it looks like rice and the second is that it was blue.

BTW, your stang looks awesome. I love the bumper.

Thanks,The only down fall to the front bumper is ,if it ever gets smashed,it will be nearly impossible to duplicate.I need to find a chrome ring that will go around the headlights or atleast the opening, what would 74mm be in inches? I thought you liked the way it looks or are you doing something different.

I dont understand what you are trying to do.
Im not putting the ring around the housing. I put the ring around the projector so the reflector lights up too. Also 74mm = 2.9133 inches.

BTW; from time to time you see that bumper on e-bay for 300-500bux. I would get a second one as a just in case item if you worry about it getting damaged.

Where on ebay? I took an BBR LNR bumper and cut and molded the head lights design and a friend finished the molding for me,so if there is another one just like mine,I'll deffinately buy it. trust me this wasn't easy to do and I don't want to try and do it again. I understand about the ring around the projector, since I've had the lights apart before, after I see what your finished project will look like ,I might try and intergate it on my lights.Your doing such a great job, can't wait to see it finished.

Before project started

Finished

I had a set custom done for a honda I had years ago. By a Company called http://www.customlightz.com/
they do all custom work and only use the good OEM projectors and HID. The Cut offs on there Projectors
are like a Razor line!
