Just thought I would show those of you who were interested in seeing what the newest headlights look like on an 05 Stang GT - here you go. I love them!! People can't figure out what is coming up behind them at night until I go roaring past them (hehehe)

Good to see you on the site Ron - I haven't met you but I've seen your car I saw it at the Waterford Lakes show (actually asked your wife to turn the headlights on so I could see them lit up), then saw it again at the Fantasy of Flight show. Nice car!

I'm not so quick to call 'rice' on that one. That actually looks pretty cool, and has a little Mustang nostalgia to it. Nice job Ron.
That couldn't have been cheap. Do they project more light at night?

I never want to put down someone's mod but it just doesn't fit the retro look in my opinion~

Thanks for the praise. Glad that you were able to get the chance to see them on and up close. Hopefully we will cross paths in a future car show...

Actually I changed out the bulbs after I installed them. Seemed to not be as bright as I would have liked them so I switched them out for a set of EuroDezigns 8500K Super White and now they luminate the whole street as well as gives off that blue halo effect.

Actually the LEDs are not as bright as they look in the pic. They actually look blue'sh in person. I think it is due to the reflection from the background behind them.

But as for the bulbs, they are whiter than the normal OEM headlights and project out a bright white onto the road. Definately can tell that there is no yellow flow from these bulbs. They are Xenon/Krypton gas filled.

I think if you add the dividing bar (GT-R style), that would look REALLY COOL! I don't like the look of the bar with the round shape headlamp, but I think it would look really good with this kind of light... what do you guys think?

You can get these from www.vertexracing.com. Currently they are going for about $235 + S&H

I think the place that made those was in Orlando, or right nearby you. They did a bunch of 'custom' Mustangs about a year ago and put them on ebay.

Hey Ron, you can find them here... Splitter Link v6mustangstuff.com It's a slit and it doesn't cover much of the light. I think it looks better because there are less seams. I'm going to get them soon with the halo lights. I think these 3d carbon headlight splitters are better because you can line them up to what level you want. They aren't set in the case of a full headlight cover.

Also if you want the full gtr headlight covers that Randy on the forums has (thanks Randy)-here is the info he gave me on the full headlight gtr covers. There is a guy in South Florida by the name of Don Miller (407) 497-2122 You can also reach Don at vantagesportscars@hotmail.com ..., but he prefers to be called on his cell # (407) 497-2122. I think it's around 130 or higher for a pair unpainted.

Good luck and show pix if and when you decide to get them!

Mikey

That's central FL (area code 407 is Orlando). Don't know where you are at, but that's around where I live.

Car is looking good! Good luck with the splitter, I think it will look AWESOME!

Thanks Mikey for the info. I will definately check this out. My only concern is going to be that if these will block the LEDs that are on the inside of the headlights near the front grill. But I will have to at least check it out...

For when you are ready for your headlights check out www.vertexracing.com and hook up with Billy there. He will take care of you...
