I think the Scott Drake "Powered by Ford" emblems look pretty good. I put four coats of Carnuba wax on them for protection, so I hope they stay looking good. The trickiest parts of this were, first, getting the GT emblems off. They should use that black gummy adhesive on the Space Shuttle to keep the insulation and tiles on there. It is really sticky stuff, but the GT's did yield to the heat gun and Bondo spatula applicators slid in at the corners. Second, I tried all the tricks you guys suggested but finally had to just measure up from the line embossed in the fender just under the emblem at two places. Got it even with those measurements and stuck it on. Luckily, they look OK to my eyeballs.

I hope those stay looking good on your car longer than they did on mine. Mine have faded badly and look horrible after just 8 months.

 

I hope not Justin. I did see your earlier post and took the warning. If I keep a good coat of wax on them, they may survive.

 

My car usually isn't garaged all the time, that may have had something to do with it. They do look great on your car though.
