Smile Post pictures of FR500 or CT-R

I’m having a really hard time finding pictures of 05+ Stangs with either FR500 or CT-R.

If you have pictures please post them up, I’m on the fence here.

Here are CT-R wheels on my Mustang. 18X9 Gun Metal with 255 front and 285 rear. BTW, I wouldn't recommend 285's on a 9" rim. Unfortunately, this is an easy decision. Other than the 18X9 Chrome, CTR Wheels has been out of stock on everything since April.

I've been jumping back and forth between the 2 wheels as well. With CT-R being out of stock since April, something doesn't sound right to me. I emailed them and have not gotten a reply in a month now as well. American Muscle has the same wheel in a 18x9" but no 10" wide ones.

Tough choice, both are really nice looking wheels.
The 18X10 are a must for me, unless I could find a set of Black GT5000 wheels @ a good price.
I haven't seen a vehicle as of yet with these wheels on.

It seems like they are taking a really long time for them to replenish their stock, I hope they didn't go out of business.

I'm thinking I might just go for the FR500 in silver.

Let me know what you guys think, I'm open to suggestions.

If push comes to shove then i am going to go FR500 in silver then go and get them powdercoated gun metal, i dont know i just think silver or chrome are too bright on a black stang and black wheels hide. I have two friend and one has black bullitts and the other has black FR500s both on black cars and if you are not standing close to the car you could not tell the difference, all you see is a silver lip and something over the brake disc but that is IMO. I like the Gun Metal look on black cars.

I tried getting the CTR wheels in black in May and their website at the time that they were in stock , so I placed an order. Then I got an e-mail back saying that they were out of stock of only the 18x10 , 18x9 they had. So they gave me a refund and told me to call them back in July. I tried many times to call and no answer, didnt even get a reply of my e-mails.Then in July thier website showed that they were out of stock of everything. So I gave up on them and pulled the trigger and got a pretty good deal on the GT500 wheels in black with Nitto 555 285/40-18 in the back and 255/45-18 up front already installed and balanced and I have to say I'm glad that I did

I've been doing some research and the silver wheels that I posted wont fit the 05+ but the black ones will. The silver wheels are for the new edge meaning they are the incorrect offset.

However, upon further research I found the source of the wheels and they seems to carry different color combination with the right offset for our cars.
