this. I have a black GT and just noticed the other day the "gills" on the inside, inboard side of the headlamp assembly. They look cool - but with the black stang - they blend in too much and you can't really see them. I was wondering if it would be worth the trouble to take apart the headlamp unit and paint the bacground of the gills a flat silver - not the gills themselves - just the flat black background that is there now......anyone with a camara, photoshop skills get a clear pic of the gills throught the headlight lense and change the background to silver???

Might look pretty cool??

 

Just paint them.... if you don't like it, paint them black again.
