Is it possible to install the gt/cs front lip on a gt bumper????

 

Would also like to know......Kevin @ Clevparts says the Shelby front chin spoiler will not fit the GT, he was not sure about the Hurst / CS, but looking at the Ford parts catalog there might be hope. The price is right.

 

Judging from the pics you sent it seems as though you could just bolt on the lower lip to a stock gt. My reasoning is as follows. Ford created the new bumper with the diffuser because it goes on the cobra and all gt/cs's. But they didn't want to waste money on a whole new front bumper for just the gt/cs's since the cobra has it's own bumper. So they came up with a little bolt on to save some money. Aleast that's what I hope. Make sense?

They created an new bumper for the gt/cs as well....it's not just a chin spoiler. It highly doubt it will fit the stock gt bumper........the shape of the bottom of the gt/cs fascia is different than the gt.

 

Anybody that has a C/S does it look like the chin spoiler will fit on a GT ?

 

Stoicis correct, the GT CS and the Hurst does not use a chin spoiler, it is a one piece bumper. It is available separately and can be installed on a GT.
