I've been wanting to do this for a while. Installed chrome tail light bezels and the SHR Honeycomb tailight panel. Haven't seen this done on too many black cars. What do you guys think?

Personally, I think it finishes the back end.

 

My personal opinion is that the chrome around taillights on blacks look outstanding. Actually, I think the more chrome on black the better...

I went with a blackout decal on mine but, as you can see, I have the yellow/black thing going on.

I think the chrome bezels on the dark colors really accents things well.
I have been considering it for my Vista after following a black GT with them on this week.

Looks good. I did the SHR panel on my black GT but I went with the Moss Black bezels instead because I have a black theme going iwth the Foose Nitrous Black rims.

 

If I had not seen it I don't think I would have liked it but as everyone else says, "it looks good on black"!

 

I'm still up in the air on this one. I want to put an axle back system on the car, but haven't quite decided which ones to go with yet. I don't want anything really load and obnoxious, and with the auto, my cruising RPM is right at 2000 going back and forth to work , which has me in fear of .."the drone" factor. Right now it's a between the FRPP GTA's or Magnaflows.

The Magnaflows sound good and don't have alot of drone.
I also have the Magnaflow catted X-pipe on mine.
Just a bit louder than the stock pipes at idle and normal driving, but I think sound better when you step on it.
Sounds even better with the X-pipe now.

I had the chrome tail lights on my '05 and loved them!

On my '06, I went with the Scott Drake covers that are brushed instead of chrome and really like the way they look on the white...

My personal opinion: Yes on the honeycomb, No on the chrome trim. Guess I'm not feeling the chrome back there over and above the exhaust and fake gas cap.

The chrome is cool, always looks better with black or a dark color. Don't know about the honeycomb panel though, it blends in too much with your already black car.

 

Looks good man! I've been debating the chrome bezels for my black pony. They do kinda complete the retro look which is what I love about the car! I may par-take! How much did you get them for? They seem to float around 60 bucks.

 

Looks good. I'm not a big fan of the chrome trim mixed with the blackout panel, but that's just me.

Are those torch red rocker stripes? I've also got a black on red vert, and have been thinking about doing the torch red stripes on mine. I really like the stripes looks really good. Got any pics with the top down, so we can see it with the red leather?

 

Bezels are from AmericanMuscle.com and price was better than average.

Rocker stripes are a standard 3M color called cardinal Red. Its almost perfect match for the red seats.

 

Looks good. Thanks for the extra pics. I think I'm definitely going to go with some red stripes after seeing yours. I think I might try a Boss style C strip in red. Looks great with the red leather.
