POLL: Voice your opinions!

OK everyone, I'm changing blowers and therefore losing my CDC shaker. I am currently looking at options for a new hood or something along those lines......

Right now I'm looking at the following four choices:

1) Factory hood with Roush scoop, striped to match the rest of the car.

2) Cervini's C-series hood:

3) Cervini's Ram Air:

4) Cervini's '67 hood:

Keep in mind, whichever way I go it will be stripped to match the current look:

I say the C-series. With the stripes and the center fogs, I think that having a scoop in the middle makes the car look to 'center heavy'. Good luck!

I like the C-series and the ram air, but I think the C-series might look a little better.

I like the 67 hood (the one I voted for) or the Roush scoop. I think the C-series is way to blocky looking.

+1, that's what I was thinking. it's a lot of beef up there with nothing else on the sides.

Out of the four choices I picked the stock w/Roush scoop. It's close to what you have now so you overall look won't change much.

Off of the four you listed I think the Steeda cowl hood or the Saleen Extreme hood would look good but I think your stripes may be just a bit to wide for the cowl on the Steeda one.

here are a couple close up shots of the Saleen I just took yesturday at a show. Now just replace the 302 to 281 unless you stroke your motor.

Man, if you're going Saleen you need to use that WMS intake!

I love that Saleen blower... Trade you a hood for a blower. I'll even paint it for you!

That's what I was gonna say. If he went with that setup then I'd suggest a ram air style hood. The cervini's ram air hood works well with that setup. I plan on one day getting the kr hood and front fascia with the saleen s/c.

wait and go with the Saleen blower shaker combo and solve all your problems..if you are lucky the holes will match up.

But of the choices..stear clear of the Eleanor knock offs..way over done

Actually with the fact he had the shaker before that's probably what I would do if I was him.

Not sold on the WMS intake....... no offense to fans, just not crazy about it myself.

I'm researching the Saleen shaker..... not sold on the looks and true all-weather functionality. And the holes don't match up, I do know that. That system works with the opening on the PJ hood, which is different than the CDC location.

Maybe get a take-off hood for now, and modify it to fit the Saleen shaker if/when it comes out........ that may work.
