Hehe, that's not my car, mine's still on order. That's a chop I did using a picture somebody posted here. I don't have it anymore, just that avitar. I put the 3dCarbon lovers on it, dropped the back 1," and painted the back panel black. I was just playn' around to see what I want my car to look like. I was going to change the picture so there would be no confusion, but havn't gotten around to it.

Personally, I like 3dCarbons. I saw them in person at NAIAS, and I consider them to be the best looking. I had to go up and touch them just to make sure the black area was in fact paint, and not open louvers. Most of the other scoops ect. look tacked-on, but the 3dCarbon ones look like they actually fit in, even though they don't. I hope they eventially sell them prepainted like they say they will.

I also consider the back windows useless, plus I want to do someting to set my car apart, and give it a little more retro look. I have always blacked-out the C-pillar windows on my cars . . . I just don't like them.

 

Nope, louvers will make it feel like your driving a box van... a really fast box van ! And one of the best improvements over recent years Mustangs is the elimination of all the fake scoops. Two thumbs down for me. :notnice: :notnice:

 

Fake parts are a no-no IMO. I also use the heck out of my passanger rear window. Although the mirror is big enough for people driving behind me to use it.

Xenon side scoops, part of their full aftermarket body kits they have available. Can be purchase from www.cal-mustang.xom


I have decided to wait and see what other after market louvers become available this summer.

 

Buy the Street Scene 1/4 scoops from Cal. Mustang. They are louvered like the old style scoops and you can see out of them great!

 

I have to agree there. They already lost the roomy comfort of a minivan with TV, now they are going to be stuck in the back seat of a small car. My 9yo son is not too thrilled with this. Just might have to put an entertainment system in there for them.

If you don't have anyone riding in the back on a regular basis, I'd say go for the louvers.

 

it looks ok. however i am 150% against parts that have no functionality. as for the louvers. id have to see them in person. i have seen the new roush in person, and while i feel the car isnt as bad looking as in its pictures, i do not care for what they put on the triangular windows.
