Poll: Change my side stripes?

I think I'd like to make a small but noticeable change to the car this winter, appearance-wise. Debating on changing up the side stripes- what do you guys think?

Keep them as is?
"S197 GT", standard cut.....

Change them to GT/CS style, but with "GT/SC" or "S197 GT" :

Or, Parnelli Jones style (bottom left corner)

OR, something else besides these options???

Personally I really like the Parnelli Jones stripes, but Im not sure it would look right with the Lemans stripes you already have. Im not a big fan of the GT/CS style stripe either, so I would say just leave it as it is, and maybe spend the money on a different mod (clear turn signals maybe?)

I've always liked the GT/CS style stripe.

What I don't like (on any car) is "GT" in the stripe close to the GT emblem.

That's the only thing I don't like about your current set-up.

maybe you could get the GT/CS style stripe and put it on the rocker panel?? wonder what that would look like.....I like it the way it is better than any of the alternatives you came up with though...

Is there a hole there? You could put the Tri-Bar pony in it's place.

As much as I don't like V6-ing a V8, I think it would look better than the 2 GT's.

I would vote no stripes, but if you are set on having rocker stripes, I say leave them. I also thing the tribar pony emblems would look good in place of the GTs on the side.

I voted to keep her as is. I like the idea about losing the factory GT emblem but that may be a good idea. A tad busy in that area. I also liked Larry's idea (aircare84) about changing the logo on the rocker stripe to GT/SC. Like I said before your car is one of the best overall packages around. Hard to improve on that.

First Tom, It looks great as it is
The only thing I'd change, like I mentioned before would be to change the rocker stripe wording. How about just 'Supercharged'?

Good points made about having 2 'GT's next to each other(fender & rocker)The Tri-bar ponies is a good idea.

After seeing the GT/CS stripes on the rocker, just doesn't do it for me,if they went full length it would look better. The angled ends don't tie in well IMO.

Beautiful car Tom. IMHO because of how much other stuff you've got going on it, would look best with no rocker stripe at all, or if you really want one go with no text at all. The rocker does match the pinstripes on the over the top stripes nicely though. I wouldn't go with the Parnelli Jones stripe, that would be way to much, and I would ditch the brenspeed, but that's just me. Good luck.

Great car Tom my suggestion to you is lose the GT on the stripe and unless Brenspeed is forking up $$$ for the ad lose that 2

I like it as is. I think it looks great. I do agree with the others about the GT emblem being a little close, but it still looks good IMO.

OK...IDEA!! Get a rocker stripe to say "BRENSPEED"....and maybe think about removing the windsheild one so it doesnt say brenspeed all over the car.

...may I also suggest some GT/CS side scoops?

Thanks for all of the feedback guys, I appreciate all of your comments. I'll give it another day or so to see if anyone else gives input, then I'll post my own thoughts.

Thanks again!

+1 on the GT emblem however I would do it reverse. I would remove the GT that is behind the S197. Having them that close together is distracting. The factory emblem says what it is and with the rocker saying it's an S197 compliments that, just my opinion.

Either way Tom, I hope my Stang is a drool worthy when it's done as yours is.
