The A/S's are pretty expensive aren't they? Can't beat Michelin....or BFG. Without having driven on either (P-Zero's came off at purchase for snows), I'd say the A/S's are probably better. But that's just my guess.

Yep the A/S are kinda pricey, on average I'd say they cost almost twice as much as comparable tires.
I personally like the Pirelli's a LOT, but I can't get 'em in 255/45-18 and the closest (or even better) choice are the Michelins...
I would love to stick with the Pirellis but it seems like I might have to go for the Michelins and wanted to see what people with a '05 Stang think of them.
Thanks for the feedback, pal !

I had a set of Pilot Sport A/S on my Lincoln LS and really liked them... quiet, smooth and had excellent grip... you might want to check out the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S ... they are rated better than the Michelin on the Tire Rack owner survey.

I like the stock P-Zero Nero tires on my Stang. They seem to get great treadlife according to other TMS members.

I'm running the Michelin A/S on my mustang, and absolutely LOVE them.

The stock pirelli's were good, but the michelins are much better in comparison IMO

Sorry I can't elaborate further...I don't really remember the pirelli's, but know that the Michelins work very well for traction both wet and dry conditions, and I will consider them again for other vehicles.
