Finally got my bassani axleback mufflers on, tinting (15% back, 25% front), and shorty antenna on.

Looks really nice, great job. Are the mufflers something you installed or had installed? Just wondering how difficult the swap is.

How do you like those Basanni's? Are they louder? Deeper? Any noticable gain?

Bassanis were done with my friend and my cousin. Its a three person job. One guy to hold the tip of the muffler, one guy holding the muffler itself, and the other bolting and unbolting. They are definitly louder. Can't say I feel any gains..since I did it the second day I had the car. The car seems to rev better...smoother, etc. MUCH deeper. Sounds like an old muscle car.

Nice looking car...

What can we get away in with California as far as tint goes? Website says 70% in front any around. I really want to tint my car but want to know realistically what we can get away with.

Nice mods. Do you still plan on moving the fogs to the middle like the Galpin car?

I do Shannon. Glapin has blown me off, so I am looking for other solutions.

As far as getting away with tinting...so far, I had three cops pull up RIGHT next to me at lights, and check out the car. None have given a second glance to the tinting. Normally, if I see a cop...I would roll down the windows....but its only been 2 days since I had them tinted.

70% is the legal limit up front. I did 25%. My buddy has a white BMW coupe (2000 330ci or something). He has 35% up front, and has yet to be stopped either.

I honestly think the tinting laws are designed for drug dealers and ricers. Cops hate rice rockets, because they are usually the ones driving retarded and taking chances; because most of the time....its highschool kids who can afford a civic with a pepboys muffler on it. Not a $30k mustang that looks classy. Unless the cop is looking for a reason to pull you over, you should be fine with going darker than what it legal on the tinting. My dad always tells me (he's an ex-cop), don't give a cop a reason to stop you...and he wont.

The bassinis were from Ninoport.com. I think they were about $500. I ordered them about a month ago. Very quick and easy service from them. definitly reccoment them.

The antenna is a Pepboys special. I was warry of putting a $10 antenna on my car, but it looks good and gets great reception...so i don't care.

I will try and get a soundclip. My digital camera takes video...but it comes out to like 30mb for a 30 sec clip. I have to figure out the settings on it.
