Looks awesome! I like how subtle they are.

I don't blame you with going vinyl. I don't think I could commit to painted stripes!

Flat black looks really good on a black car.

Of course you know I love them! They go really good on your car too.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get mine painted on. It kind of sucks that you can't put clear over the flat black. Well I guess you cold, but it wouldn't look right. I'd like to see someone else do it first.

Looks great. Gary why don't you try the painted black on black first and let us know how it works out.

I'm afraid of getting wax on the flat black paint. Sure when you do the whole hood its easy, but Shelby stripes would suck to wax. At least with the vinyl I can get wax on them.

They look good, but I honestly think they'd look better about a inch and a half wider to better match the width of your hood scoop inlets.

Looks awesome. You can have a matte clear sprayed instead. That way you won't notice as much of a ridge and you can wax.

thanks everyone i love the look of them, they are 10" i thought about the 12' but id have to cut them cause the openings on the hood is 11 and 1/2 so i just went with the 10". i got them from http://www.rallystripes.com/ they were @ $60 shipped i think. my body guy told me that it is just 3m matte tape which is a common thing and can be bought for alot cheaper from local businesses i just dont know where. i went over these with wax and it didnt bother it or look funny

Wow, $60? Baltimore Street Mods charges almost $160. How was the quality of the stripes? Was installation fairly easy?

i think it was actually 56, the quality is good seems durable. i had a body shop put them on and he said they were a pain in the azz with my car due to all the curves. he said the front bumper was the hardest part. i have heard people say that it was easy. im sure it is alot easier if you get the cut set, but with my mods i had to get a roll, and hand cut each piece

Looks great for sure. I'm surprised about being able to wax them. When my matte vinyl stripes got wax on them, I had to redo them?
