Passenger side mirror replacement?

I've had this off for well over a year, only deciding to finally fix since I plan on trading it in end of the year.. I bought one online, but the connectors didn't even match! Attached is what my connectors look like. Is this someone's half-*** job they did, or what?

I attached what it looks like, I'm at work right now but this is what I got.
I think I threw the damaged Mirror away, this happened a year ago.

This Is What Your Plug Should Look Like. I Have Not Had My Mirror Off For Years But I'm Thinking Possibly Missing a Small Jumper Harness. Was Probably on Old Mirror! May Have To Get Pigtail & Hardwire to What You Holding. i will Do a Bit More Digging. Here is a Connector Pic From The Shop Manual.

It is Possible That is Sub Harness You Are Holding and that is the Internal Plug from Inside Broken Mirror. Try Pulling The Harness Out a Bit and Maybe the Correct Plug is on the Other Side of That Wiring! Yep Check it Out! Here is Also Pic of Inside Door!

I see, so just pull that orange piece until it comes off? I'll have to do this tomorrow when I get done with work. I'll update it and let you know - thanks!

I Pulled The Mirror Inside Cover Off My 07 Shelby. the Wiring is So Short It Barely Comes Out the Outside Hole So I'm Thinking That is Internal Wiring From Busted Mirror! With Inside Cover Off You Should See the Other Plug and Simply Unplug. When Installing New Mirror You Likely Can't Plug Mirror to Short Section Until Mirror in Place.

Good Luck!
