Painting my '07 GT Sterling Grey Metallic?

I have a grabber orange GT right now. Considering having it repainted in the new sterling grey metallic color. Anyone on here know a good place to go for this in the San Diego, CA area? How much would I be looking at for something like this? 2-3 grand I'm assuming? And how do you guys think the S197 would look in the SGM paint color? I really love it on the newer Mustangs. I think it would look great on my car...

Thumbs down IMO

Not worth the money or effort to do the job.
You would be better off putting yours back to stock, selling it and getting a silver car of the year you have.
Repaint that one only on the outside and you will save a lot of money.

Yep to do it right it would be over 5k like previously posted, not that it matters, but I think the Grabber Orange is badass!

The grabber orange is such a unique color. Do not go to gray it is very common! My Mustang is Sterling Gray but if I had a choice I would have gotten it orange like yours. If you have to have a gray one, it would be better to trade your car in.

2-3K...that's a good one. It cost me more than that to have my stripes painted. The shop that did it had some guy who wanted his 330cxi repainted to arctic blue --a color available the same year as his car. Because they had to strip the car down to nothing to get the engine bay, door jams, trunk ,etc all the same color -- $8k. His car was more or less stock. Just made no sense.

Maybe he had some sort of sentimental attachment to the car, or he was just semi-mental

Yeah, it's not worth the money to do it anyways.

Grabber Orange is one of my favorite Mustang colors. Add some black accenting with the money saved from not repainting it!

You'd think if he were that sentimental, he'd love it in the color it is
