I noticed the Lincoln LS has identical washer nozzles and they are painted. I checked the local Lincoln dealer and you can buy them over the counter.
I ordered 2 in Satin Silver. Cost $38. Installation is literally a snap .. they snap
right on ... here are pics..

Doesn't look bad at all. Might be easier for you when you wax your car.

I used the same white vinyl I used to do my stripes and covered the washer nozzles so they match the stripes......easier than painting them.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I think I will keep them .. can't wait to see them tomorrow out in the sunlight.

p61cbi - if you do decide to get them you have to order for a 2001 Lincoln LS
in Silver. They used different shades of Silver over the various years.

EXCELLENT and simple mod, John. Well done! Little things like that are noticeable enhancements to an already-increadible machine. I wonder if dealers will offer these nozzles in other colors. Happy New Year!

Those would be the washer nozzles for a 2000, 2001 & 2002 LS.

In 2003 the LS switched to hidden nozzles, which are even better. I wish Ford would have used hidden nozzles on the 05 Stang too.

Also you will have a hard time matching colors with the LS other than Satin Silver, which was dropped from the LS in mid 2002 MY and replaced by Silver Birch. I don't think that any other LS colors were exactly the same as the 05 Stang uses, although the white & black may be close enough.
