Hey Fazm did they just pull the rocker panel right off and pain them off the car? I would like to get mine fixed since they are sand blasted from driving around on the roads. I just don't want anyone to see any tape lines or clear coat lines in the door panels.

I painted them
took them off the car (pushpins ont he bottom, then just pull it off, and put the clips from the inside back in).
Prepped it by sanding it to rough them up.
Laquor thinner coat
paint coat (2 coats)
then gravel guard clear coat.
Let dry 2 hours
put back on.

I got mine from space age automotive paint. Any automotive paint store will work. On your vin sticker in the door, you will find a paint code (mine was G2 i believe). Just tell them that, and they can mix it up for you in pints, or in spray paint cans (if you dont have a spray gun/compressor).
I took 250grit sand paper and just roughed the plastic up (with laquor).
Then i sprayed the primer coat on (it sticks pretty good when you rough the plastic up) Let that dry 15 minutes or so.
Then i sprayed 2 coats of the redfire paint (let dry 15 min or so in between coats).
Then i applied the clearcoat gravelguard (comes in a spraycan) and let that dry for 3 hours in the sun.
Came out really good, im quite happy with the results.
