What's up guys, I painted my 17" bullitts today. I used duplicolor low gloss black engine enamel. I painted the entire wheel, including the lip.

Here are the steps I used to do it.

1. sanded with 320 grit sandpaper
2. cleaned with soap and water
3. Wiped with duplicolor de greaser wipes
4. rubbed with tack cloth
5. applied about 4 coats of the paint.
6. Repeat 3 more times


I think they turned out pretty good for my first time ever doing something this involved to my car. I know some wont like it and that is cool, as long as I do Let me know what you think.

A friend painted mine, but I wanted the machine lip. He also painted spoiler. It can work out great!!

 

Looks good, I first wanted to do that after I first bought the car but never did. I finally did and decided I wanted something a little different so painted it all.

That turned out looking really good. Our cars look very similar.

Since this pic I have added a GT500 spoiler and a CDC classic chin spoiler painted silver.
