Painted engine cover

Well, I decided to see if I could paint.
I realized I don't have patience to mask off things.
My cover was a little worn at one spot from originally putting on my strut brace, but then I was able to get the cover lower where it didn't rub, but it was too late. So the silver part is repainted with a more metallic silver as well.
I decided to go with Sonic Blue with Silver stripes to match my car. Then a few coats of clear.
It came out ok, but if you get a close look there are some flaws, but I'll have to see how noticable they are once on the car.

Hey that looks great! I think you did a terrific job. Painting isn't the easiest thing to do, when it comes to auto paints. I like it.

Well Done!! Only YOU would notice any flaw's. This is exactly how we should mod our rides, Do IT YOURSELF. Congrat's. I know mine has a lot of flaw's, but I did mine by myself, too. No one notice's them, they are simply awed by the unique look we give our cars by doing it yourself.
