Paint question?

I am considering buying and installing the Cervini 500 chin spoiler. My question is since my stripes are painted gloss black will the spoiler look OK painted flat black?

It should. Are you buying it already painted flat black? I ask because I bought mine flat black and my painter said it cut down on his prep work when he painted and striped mine. If you don't like it, you could always have it painted locally..

It looks good painted flat black plus you can spot paint if it chips.

Since you have full body stripes I vote for getting the chin spoiler painted to match and then either striping the chin with vinly or painting it if your stripes are painted. I've seen cars with stripes and a matte chin spoiler and it looks odd. JMO>

Rich, I think it would look more old school flat..... god I hate that term "old school" Try it!... but I bet you end up shooting it to match your car with gloss stripes.. I know its more bucks but I think the flats going to bug you IMO!!

I think I'll go with matte black when I decide to pull the trigger on this. My friend Cali HP Addict has his painted like that and it looks great, although he doesn't have stripes. The matt black will flow with the lower & upper grille.

Matte Black or Flat Black is so retro, it will look right at home up front.
