Paint or not to paint agent 47 mirrors
Paint or not to paint agent 47 mirrors
I just received a set of Agent 47 mirrors but I'm having a difficult time deciding whether or not to paint the entire unit or partially paint them (mirror housing or trim piece)
What do you think?

If were talking silver or any other lighter color, I would just paint the mirror housings to match your exterior color and leave the pieces that mount on the doors black. I think the lighter colored mirrors blend better with the window trim that way. (Someone recently posted pix of partially painted agent 47's and they looked great.) But with darker colors like black or Vista Blue, I would paint the entire mirror assembly to match the body color.
Well the polls seem to be favoring the partial paint.
So, the mirror housing (red arrow) is painted body color. The trim piece (blue arrow) stays black. How about the mirror housing support (green arrow) body color also or leave black as well?
Thanks

A big Thank you to everyone who participated in the poll and who offered their opinions.
I was going to wait a little longer before dropping off the mirrors for painting, but with over 80% in favor of painting just the mirror housing I have the answer I needed today. That being said, I'll be dropping them off today and have them painted as all of you suggested. Thanks again for all of your help! You will be happy to know that you had confirmed my wife's initial suggestion too. And yes, I did get the required "I told you so"
