First off, what is on the caliper from the factory, it looks silver to me. Will this hold up or will it rust.
I am thinking of painting my calipers orange if I could find it, but all I see is red. I want orange to match the Hurst emblems I have underneath the GT on the sides...does anyone know who makes this paint in orange

They make some, it's brush on type specifically for calipers. Forget the brand name but they sell it at most pep boys type stores. They have quite a few colors, yellow and red I am sure of. If no orange you could mix up the two yourself to get just the right color.

Think they are just bare aluminum, but not sure. if it's not aluminum it has to be clear coated or treated in some way to inhibit rust, because mine are just as bright as they were in dec when I brought her home.

Eastwood has a brush on that I have used and it holds up well. They have lots of colors too.
