What do you all think about this cap on an 07?

 

Looks good It's different. I do like the M U S T A N G script across the deck lid.

 

Did you add the script yourself?

 

Yeah, I did the lettering myself. The cap is a new one from Scott Drake, it isn't actually on the car, I just photoshopped it on there. I haven't seen any on a car and just though it might look good on an 07, do something a little different. I would have to get it on there somehow.

 

I like it. I think it would look better without the blackout panel.

 

Actually I don't have a blackout panel. That is paint. I was thinking of maybe adding a honeycomb panel. It would look something like this.

 

I just think adding black to that area will take away from the cap. JMO.

 

The Honey comb panel looks cool I'll bet Alice Cooper would have liked it on his stang.

 

That pic is awesome. That cap would go great with his red and black theme. I guess we know what Mr. Cooper drives when "Schools Out".

Have you looked at Silverhorse Racing's caps? I have some of their other stuff but not the rear cap. They have the honeycomb panel all great quality stuff.

We stock ours in black solid, as well as can do the custom ones on special order like on Brad's car.

Does the SD piece open, or is it a solid one-piece design? Just curious... it looks like the original 68 piece if I'm not mistaken.

Dave, that's what I thought, just wasn't sure if they started making one or not, hence why I was asking. I figured it was a new thing since someone else posted about it.
