Depends on the rest of your car. That could easily be a little to fast/furiousish on the wrong car. On the right car w/ the right paint job it could look pretty sweet. If you get it, I'd definately leave part of the center section black and go for a Mach I type paint scheme w/ some other matte black accents on the car. Otherwise, I doubt I'd care for it. An installed pic would be a huge help in deciding.

Personally it's alittle "busy" for me and I think it would look better on a SN95.

my car is all black, black wheels, tinted windows. i was thinking that and maybe a black billet grill with a cdc agressive chin spoiler. the only problem is that this hood is new so i cant find any other pics other then what i provided. i appreciate the opinions though, thank you.

Looks a lot like the SMS hood to me (would be better if we could see a front shot installed). If it looks like I think it does, I'm sure it'd be pretty sweet.

That would probably look better on your car. That car belongs to a guy on 2005Stang.com, Stu is his real name, I forget his screen name. Take a look over there and there's a bunch of pics of his car.

Warmachine115 over at Mustang Forums has the SMS hood on his Black GT, with the Cervini's kit and it looks really good. I like the hood, but definitely depends on the flow of the rest of your car IMO.

Here is a pic of his car: ....I'm sure he has more if you're interested.

That hood is definitely a direct copy of the SMS hood. Too bad they couldn't have the actuating butterflies wired into the throttle like the real SMS one had.

see thats my point, im not overcrowding the vehicle with a body kit so i do understand looking at the pic you provided that it is busy looking for a stock looking vehicle like mine. i only plan on doing a hood, chin spoiler, ducktail spoiler and probably not a whole lot more. SO that being said the cowl hood i posted seems like a much better choice and cleaner looking for my setup.

All those vents... Pick which one you want, and then use that, ditch the other. I.e., scooped, or vented, but not both.

Also, too many extra lines, even with the body kit it'd be goin' with.

But that's just me.

I think the SMS hood would even look good on a stock car, too bad no one has done it.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Or even better yet on a Viper. Painted lime green and black.

I'm sure someone could figure out how to put butterflies into the knock-off SMS hood and make them functional.
