Found these on eBay, just wondering what you all think. Maybe you seen these personally and up close?

imo, they look better w/o the foglights and just the top grille albeit with a new front fascia as well...

if ur keeping the fogs up there, then i wouldnt go w/the billet, looks out of place.....

Both:

But the first one looks a lot worse than the second if that helps.

I like the second one. I've never been that big of a fan of the horse. But If someone could make a lower grill where you can install the fogs with the stock bumper and then have a billet grill on top covering everything that would look sweet.

It helps.. Thanks for the replies.

I was just throwing some grilles out there looking for public opinion.

Would like to keep the fogs, so I'll keep looking for a grille set that'll pop out at me!

The 2nd one, but it has to have the pony on it.

I don't really like either of them. The fogs look out of place in the second one, and I don't like the material pattern of the first one.

Lewis- Thanks for the links. I do like the CDC set. Not sure about the other one, mounting the stock pony emblem over the grille looks like an afterthought.

The Trex grill does not come with the pony. You would have to order an extra bracket to mount it. You may prefer it without it. The factory grill would have to be modifided for it to fit flush.

I have seen the CDC grill in person. I think that it is nice from any kind of distance but if you put your face to the grill you can see how it mounts to the factory grill.

The ultimate would be a billet grill that was not an overlay.

How does the overlay mount to the stock grille? Same mounting method for the upper and lower?

Not a big fan of the grille but I like the hood. I wonder if it just a proglass.com one

I like the one just posted in that old thread... but only in black and w/o the chrome trim. I would actually consider putting one those on my car if I could get it w/o fogs.

The overlay mounts to the stock grill with black screws that blend into the black plastic. They are pretty hard to see.

Do additional holes get drilled into the factory honeycomb grille? Or are talking about some other fastening way?
My only concern is that if I removed the billet overlay in the future, I don't want extra drilled holes in the honeycomb.

IMO, billet grilles look HIDEOUS, but if you must have one, the ones with thin slats look best

I am not sure but I think that you would have extra holes inthe honeycomb.

Have you considered a black chrome grill from Street scene?

http://www.streetsceneeq.com/product_list.asp?mi=5

Or keeping your stock grill and getting the Silver Horse Racing honeycomb panel for the rear?

http://www.silverhorseracing.com/apparel.htm

I think that a black grill looks best on a red car.
