I like it. I probably would've bought that if it wasn't so expensive (w/ paint). My concern would be getting an aftermarket piece that large to fit well, but who knows...

If the rubber pieces on the roof were body colored I think it would rock, but as it is it just looks tacked on - doesn't blend in well enough IMO.

I'll have to go look for pics... I always kind of liked the way Ford designed the rear glass on the S197.

Yes, I totally agree... But it just seems too expensive for a trim piece.

I have it on my car. The part that lines up with the rubber pieces from the roof should be painted black. When you see it up close you'll notice it has a ridge that "separates" it. The instructions actually say that in order for it to look better that they should be painted black. That's what I did. I like it and the people that actually notice it compliment me on it.

Now that you mention it, I think that's what's show in the pic here http://www.lmperformance.com/7600/87.html

The black strips probably look fine on dark colored cars, but on the white it looks like a big gap on each side, in my opinion.

Sorry, I'm at work. That pic is a pretty good indicator. My car is satin silver. It even says in that description to paint the sides black.

It was nice out so I thought I'd give you a more personal visual. Personally, I like the U-trim. Initially, I didn't like the cost (and painted), but I thought it would be a good way to cover up the black on the glass - and it is. Here are a few snapshots, and I even found a before for reference at the end. Maybe this can help spur some more educated responses, enjoy!

It was an issue getting the whole thing overall to line up. Just unstick little by little and keep it high, otherwise you will have clearance issues opening the trunk.
