Old school with identity

the GT seems off center from the pony. it doesnt look like it is lined up right... if you want to keep them both i would move them around a little bit. maybe put the GT on the rear quarter panel

Where did you get the 281 emblem? I have an 07 with the GTAP and I want to attach the 281 on the sides of the hood scoop. I would like all silver/crome instead of red. I've seen some, however, did not like the print. I like your print. I wouldn't want anything taller than 1". How tall are yours? Thanks

The 281 emblems were made by a guy up in Canada for me. Thomas Luscher at think3d@telus.net is his name and email address. He can change the insert color to any color you'd like. They are around an inch tall and come with the 3M tape already installed and ready to go.
Don't remember exactly what I paid for them, but in my opinion they are well worth the price as the quality and finish are top notch.
This reminds me, I need to get some new photos of my car for him to put on his website. Make sure you tell him Danny Shaw with the red 281s for his black mustang sent you!

They'll come spaced on a backing piece. I transferred that spacing measurement to a plastic ruler with a sharpie. So I had 'tick' marks where the edge of each number was in relation to each other. I then held the ruler up against the car with the numbers just resting on it so I could find a good spacing between the Tri-bar Pony and the numbers. Once I was happy with the spacing, I then used masking tape to tape the ruler to the car at the correct height and location so as to have the numbers 'centered' under the pony emblem. Once the ruler was secured, I then pealed a number off, rested it on the ruler between my tick marks then pressed it unto the car.
Repeat for each number then for the other side of the car. Make sure to clean the area with some rubbing alcohol to remove any wax or dirt that may be in the area.
Good luck and be sure to post pics of the final install!

Love it Jeff....but I'm biased. Just one thing though. I agree with a few of the others about the 2 different badges. If you want to keep it old school, drop the GT and go with the running pony's only. But, that's my opinion. If you like it, then that's all that counts.
