Yep. Always looking, but I'm not optimistic a "blank" GT grille will ever be made.
Maybe this way someone else will finally get the exact grille THEY wanted. (SOMEBODY on here wanted one of these, just can't remember who it was)

Yes, but it has centered fogs.
I was pointing this one out for V6 guys who want fogs in the stock GT location (or at least close to it) and no pony.

Personally, I want an OE style GT grille w/o fogs or the pony.

Does anyone have pics of a V6 grille on a GT bumper? I want to see how big the gap is. Also, how was the install?

If anyone is looking for a stock v6 grill w/pony emblem, PM me, it was taken off the day after i got the car and put in the box. As well i am removing my OEM GT grill and fogs to be sold w/ relief cut templetes to install it on a v6 if anyones interested as well. (This kit was purchased off e-bay) I love it, but am going w/ a shelby front end so i no longer need it. The GT grill is installed on car but was unused as of yet! Thing has been just sitting in my garage(car) awaiting the conversion.

About 1/2" on each side, IIRC. It's been a while since I tried it.
I paid about $20 shipped on eBay so if you just want to try it, it wouldn't cost much. The gap was just too much for my taste. That and the cutting you'd have to do to make it fit in the unused tabs. (the GT grille actually has the tabs for the V6 grille, it's just there aren't holes in the unused tabs)

(too bad there's not a "praying" smiley)

Did you see in the Headlight thread where someone said they hated that they wasted $190 for a set of headlights they ruined in the oven trying to get them apart? I told him not to worry. I had spent $150 on 3 grilles plus new tools to try to make my grille.

Thanks!
Hey, maybe if I use enough of those, I'll get my grille.

Jason, just interested...were you wanting a blank one so you could leave it blank or would you put a running horse on the right side?

Are the fogs lights on the first pic the same spacing apart as the GT grill & fogs?

Bullittman,
I'd put the tri-bar emblem on the side. ala '65 Shelby... which is why I want a "blank" grille.

Joe,
No. They are definitely closer together than a stock GT grille. (I've stared at GT grilles enough, believe me, I know) Not sure why they did it that way.
