Hi all, Newbie here. Im on information overload reading up here, great forums
Im looking for opinions on striping my car or not. I love the solid white look, but Im also really fond of the BLK ROUSH stripes. For some reason...this car was ordered w/ out them, and also w/ out the louvers, which are hot.
Well, I hope I did this poll right, being my first post and all. Opinions are welcome, Im really stuck on this. Have only had the car just over a week, and need to decide fast, before the zaino

I went through the Roush site and couldn't find any '05 stripes
http://www.roushparts.com/
If you're talking about the Roush stripes that were used in the last generation Mustangs, I would leave your car solid. Those stripes are too narrow for the s197 in my opinion.
If you go with wider stripes, then I would have a tough time choosing, because solid white does look awesome, but White is such a good color to stripe.
BTW: Welcome! and Sweet ride dude!

Actually, most the 05 ROUSH's do come with them, as per dealer requests when they fill out the work sheet, along with misc. other options. The stripes go the full length, and are a little longer than the others available. These fold over the edges, for a better look, and less chance of peeling.

They are listed as acc. under 2005 on the roushparts site for ~177 bucks complete.

...the fake vents, a.k.a. "fork-lift" holes have since been deleted from ROUSH...
Some like the look, some dont...I cant imagine cutting the bumper for those, maybe on BLK..

Thanks guys Shes seems to be rare in way...
OK..thats 2 more to stripe, and 1 solid ths far.
Blue or BLK were my first thoughts, but I have yet to see a blue striped one to compare.
The BLK striped above is a pic from the ROUSH site. But, then again...solid looks good as well. As crazy as this sounds, this is probably one of the hardest choices to decide....car related
Im giving a week or so before its a go, or no go...
Lets keep this poll going

AFBLUE,
NICE!! This is going to be hard.
TRUE HP, and 1947
I got the same replies this weekend @ Atco for the NMRA...
1947,
Took me about six long hours to mask and cut out each letter individually. I originally wanted Stainless inserts, but the guys @ SSinserts said...
" Its not worth it to us for a run under 2500 pcs"..
whatever, nice business there buddy......
So...paint is was, I layed down 3 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clear..with proper prepping of course. It was time cosuming, but turned out pretty good if I do say so myself
Man....those blue stripes look really good

this is a tight poll....lets see some more votes fellow mustangers
saw another ROUSH car w/ the blue stripes up close and personal this weekend @NMRA even w/ the "fork lift" vent holes in the rear bumper. Looked really good.
The solid looks sharp,clean, and classy..
The striped means business, looks great, attracts the eye for sure...
BLK, is back ordered,BLUE in stock @ summit

I'd stripe it ASAP, It's the only I'd consider having a white stang IMO. They look really good striped, so actually I wouldn't consider owning one, but i'd actually like to.

Chrome = No stripes
Black = Black stripes
Anthracite = tungsten or dark grey
