I agree... these are the best looking wheels I have seen so far. The lip is perfect IMO... not too deep. And Dave... where's the ducktail?

Is it just me, or does your rear wheel gap look really big? Maybe it's the way the car is parked on the terrain.

Here is a pic of Dave (Burke0011)'s car with the same wheels. He actually has 275/40/18 tires on the rear... which have almost a half inch less overall diameter than the 255/45/18's that you have on the rear. But his wheel well gap appears to be even less than yours. And I believe this pic of Dave's car was taken with the stock suspension.

Ian - that has to be the terrain Rob is parked on - it sure is funny for me to see my car this way though: I just can't see it without the Eibachs installed anymore.

As for the ducktail - it is ON - but it is coming right off - I am having it refinished and repainted - the guy did a LOUSY job and I have severed my relationhship with that shop :bang: Least I had a practice run mounting it which went pretty well - I didn;t use adhesive promotor to mount TO THE CAR so I shouldn't have too much trouble getting it off according to Mike from Street Scene - that's this weekend.

My baby has to be perfect ya know? Yeah - I know ya do. It'll take me a few weeks to get the body mods finally finished after alll this time but lemme say - the ducktail is exactly what my ride needed to finish off the rear end. Once I am good to go, I will get pics up.

also you don't notice wheel gap as much on a black car since the gap blends in with the tire, wheel well, and car color..it's like an optical illusion sometimes. It would look better lowered but I don't mind it like this since it's a muscle car. I've had my last 2 cars lowered and hated the ride eventually. I hated cringing going over bumps and worrying about my front end being demolished.

but yeah..that tungsten car is higher due to terrain..i've seen plenty of shots like that..tha motor trend with the bullitt rematch has a pic of the green 05 parke up and the wheel gap is bigger on front due to the terrain...looks funny..

Thanks for the reassurance on the wheel gap. I had a feeling it was the terrain. ANd Dave, sorry to hear about the ducktail issues. But glad to hear it's almost on for good. Now that you had it on for a little bit, was I right or was I right? It's going to look awesome on your car. I wouldn't steer you wrong. Can't wait to see pics.

And to the other Dave (MTAS): please post pics as soon as you get your wheels on. Since you have mineral grey also, I'm very curious to see those wheels on your car. As much as I love the bullitts in this thread... I'm not 100% against the deep dish ones just yet. I'd love to have 255/45/18's on the front and 285/40/18's on the rear.
